Log 6: Eden Park - 12 Spetemeber 2019

Last week during the Eden Park event for OPC I was on level 3 and 4. I showed good leadership towards the members on the Barbian rugby club by being a good model, showing a lot of respect towards them & the surroundings. I communicated with some of the old all blacks members and the other students from the other schools, I encouraged everyone who got an award by clapping for them and cheering them on. The effect of my actions had on my peers and the other groups were that I made them feel great about themselves because they achieved something.

Log 5: Family Outing - 18 July 2019

Last week during my family outing i was on level 3 and 4. I showed good leadership skills toward my little siblings by being a good role model while we were out showing them how to respect our surroundings, I also participated in any roles that my parents couldn't do by taking over and being responsible for my siblings by looking after them while my parents weren't around. Also, I showed an interest in where we were and to the people who were running the place. The effect of my actions that had on my peers was that I made it easier for my parents and we didn't really need to worry about anything cause I stepped up.

Log 4: Basketball Zone defense - 1 May 2019

Yesterday during our game of Basketball I was level 4. When doing Zone defense I found it easier to defend our zone because the more pressure we put on the other team the harder it was for them to score and it would be a turnover. When attacking we had an easier chance of scoring because there was a lot of open space that the other team left, whereas when the other team when they attack they couldn't really score as much because we left no space for them to enter the danger zone where it was mostly the easiest place to score but we made it harder for them to score. The effect my actions had on my team was that we had an easier way to get through to the other side.

Log 3: Basketball Zone defense : 8 April 2019

During our game of basketball, I was at level 2. When doing zone defense it was hard making sure that the other team couldn't get in because our zone defense was weak and the other team had easy access to score. I found it hard not knowing what to do because I didn't know that much about basketball but I kept participating, from the help of my teammate telling me what my role was I found it easier and knew more of what I had to do. If I was at level 4 or 5 our team would've had an easier chance of defending the other team from scoring. The effect of my actions had on this was that it was harder for my teammates to get a score because of how I didn't know what to do.

Log 2: Athletics Day - 21 February 2018

On Athletics Day I was on level 2 and 4, I showed a lot of effort on the activities I also participated without any intentions. I also showed every good leadership skills by leading my team and telling ideas that would help us. During the spider web event, we had to come up with a plan to get our teammates over to the other side, I decided to show leadership and stood up and told them some of the strategies I had in mind and telling them my plan it made us win the competition.  Also during all the other courses I show and did a lot of participation for my team no matter how hard it was I still participated. The effect my actions had on my whanau was that I made it an easier job for my teams by stepping up and becoming a leader helping everyone so we can be less stressed.

Log 1: Invasion Sports - 13/02/19

Last Wednesday during the game of Invasion sports I showed leadership by telling my teammates what to do and the person they need to mark on, doing this leads us to score a try for our team. The effect my actions had on my team was that everything got easier and we were hands-on thats why it was easy to score. 

Log 6: Kickball - 10/8/18

On Friday during our game of Kickball, the two factors that influenced my participation was a sense of achievement and being able to go on own pace.

The factor that influenced my participation was a sense of achievement because I really enjoyed playing kickball it made me feel good knowing that participating throughout the whole lesson made me feel like I achieved something during our lesson.

Being able to go on own pace influenced my participation because I was able to go on my pace and not having to sprint to the safe zone made me feel energized which made me not want to give up.
